Steel ties between past and future
A receptive structure dedicated for more than a century to catering, a space between two pre-existing buildings, a refined and perfectly inserted solution. Menon has combined two buildings with discretion and elegance while maintaining a context from the important past. The roofing was made in composite corrugated sheet creating a large terrace which increases the seasonal usability of the spaces. The visual lightness of the steel makes it possible to integrate articulate and complex situations without upsetting the usual appearance.
